900W Plug-In Solar Kit with Ground-Mount Racking
Start generating your own solar power with a compact package that combines two high-output bifacial solar panels, a plug-in microinverter, DC extension cables and ground-mount frames in one convenient kit. (Not included: 1" conduit pipe to join racking).
The included APsystems EZ1-LV-NA microinverter connects to both solar panels through two independent PV inputs and converts their DC power into 120V AC. With a maximum continuous output of 900VA AC, the EZ1 is well matched to this 900W DC two-panel array.
Two Hoymiles 1-meter DC extension cables are included to provide additional cable length between the solar modules and microinverter for greater flexibility when positioning the equipment.
The kit also includes three IntegraRack IR-30 frames for mounting the two panels together in a single row on an appropriate ground or structurally approved flat surface.
IntegraRack IR-30 Mounting System Included
The included IntegraRack IR-30 BallastRack Single Frames provide a simple fixed-angle mounting solution for compatible ground installations, concrete surfaces and other structurally approved flat surfaces.
-
Three frames included: The kit includes three IR-30 frames for the two-panel array.
-
Fixed 30-degree tilt: Positions the modules at a permanent 30-degree angle without requiring seasonal adjustment.

Important Installation Notes
The equipment can be installed where the project complies with the electrical code, building code, permitting, interconnection and utility requirements that apply at the installation address.
-
Grid-tied operation only. This kit does not include a battery and will not provide backup power during a utility outage.
-
Three IR-30 frames are included. They are intended for the two panels when installed together in a single-row configuration according to IntegraRack requirements.
-
1" steel conduit is not included. Steel conduit used to join the IntegraRack frames must be sourced separately.
-
Ballast and site-specific materials may still be required. The appropriate ballast, anchoring or foundation method depends on the installation site and applicable structural requirements.
-
Two Hoymiles 1M DC extension cables are included. Confirm cable routing, connector compatibility and installation requirements before assembly.
-
Local plug-in solar requirements apply. Installation may require utility notification or approval, a permit, a dedicated circuit, a smart meter or a licensed electrician.
-
Do not mount the system to a balcony railing. The IR-30 is a ballast-base frame and should not be represented as a railing-mounted balcony system.
-
Best for supplemental power. This system is not intended to offset an entire home's electricity consumption.
This kit is best suited for customers familiar with basic electrical and mounting practices or customers working with a qualified installer. Always verify current requirements before installation or connection.
Frequently Asked Questions
Click a question to view the answer.
What comes with this 900W plug-in solar kit?
The package includes two Philadelphia Solar 450W Nexus N-Type All Black bifacial solar panels, one APsystems EZ1-LV-NA plug-in microinverter, one APsystems 5m US power cord, two Hoymiles 1M DC extension cables and three IntegraRack IR-30 single-frame ballast bases.
Is the 1" steel conduit included?
No. The 1" steel conduit used to join the IntegraRack frames is not included with the kit and must be sourced separately.
Are DC extension cables included?
Yes. The kit includes two Hoymiles 1-meter DC extension cables to provide additional cable length between the solar panels and microinverter.
Is the IntegraRack mounting system included?
Yes. This kit includes three IntegraRack IR-30RF1030 single-frame ballast bases for mounting the two included panels together in one row.
Why are there three IntegraRack frames for two solar panels?
IntegraRack specifies one IR-30 frame per solar module plus one additional frame at the beginning of each row. Therefore, two panels installed together in one row generally require three frames.
Does the kit include ballast?
No. The three IntegraRack ballast-base frames are included, but ballast, anchors, foundations and other site-specific materials are not included unless expressly stated. Follow IntegraRack's current installation requirements for your project.
Can I plug this kit into any household outlet?
Not automatically. The receptacle and circuit must be suitable, and the connection must be allowed by your state, utility and local authority. A dedicated circuit, permit, utility notification or licensed electrician may be required.
How much solar capacity does this kit have?
The two Philadelphia Solar panels are rated at 450W each for a combined 900W DC nameplate capacity. The APsystems EZ1 has a maximum continuous AC output of 900VA.
Can the IntegraRack IR-30 be used on a deck or balcony?
The IR-30 is not a balcony-railing mount. Any proposed installation on a deck, terrace or balcony should be professionally reviewed for structural load capacity, wind uplift, ballast or attachment requirements, setbacks and local code compliance before installation.
Will this system provide power during an outage?
No. This is a grid-tied solar system and does not include battery storage or backup-power equipment. It is designed to stop providing usable AC output when the utility grid is unavailable.
Can I monitor how much power the system is producing?
Yes. The EZ1 includes built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth and works with the AP EasyPower app for system monitoring.
Can I add zero-export control?
The optional APsystems APMeter can monitor household consumption and adjust EZ1 output to help limit export. It does not replace utility approval or other compliance requirements. Confirm that your utility accepts the proposed configuration before installation.
Product specifications, racking requirements, wind and snow ratings, utility rules and local codes can change. Always follow current manufacturer instructions and verify the proposed installation with the appropriate professionals and authorities.
