Need zero export? Shop the APsystems APMeter. This accessory monitors your home's electricity usage and adjusts the EZ1's output in real time to help limit excess solar power from being exported to the utility grid. Utility acceptance and local requirements must still be verified.

Looking for a simple way to start generating your own solar power without installing a full-size home system? This 1180W DC Plug-In Solar Kit is designed for homeowners, garages, workshops, sheds and cabins that need a compact system for supplemental daytime energy production.
The two HanerSun 590W panels use N-type TOPCon cells and bifacial dual-glass construction. Their bifacial design can capture additional reflected light from the rear when mounting and site conditions allow.
The solar panels provide a combined nameplate rating of 1180W DC. The APsystems EZ1 microinverter has a maximum continuous output of 900VA AC, so output from the AC connection will not exceed the inverter rating.
Racking is sold separately, giving customers the ability to select an appropriate roof, ground or approved flat-surface mounting system for the property.
For ground installations, concrete patios or other structurally approved flat surfaces, consider the IntegraRack IR-30 BallastRack Single Frame. Its fixed 30-degree design is the simpler, lower-profile option for this kit.
Want adjustable tilt? The IntegraRack IR-45ASAB Adjustable BallastRack offers 15-degree to 45-degree settings for compatible ground installations. It sits higher and wind ratings decrease as tilt increases, so it is not the better default for a deck or balcony. The HanerSun panel is approximately 28.2 sq. ft., slightly larger than the 28 sq. ft. module category shown in the IR-45ASAB published load table. Confirm compatibility and site-specific ratings with IntegraRack before ordering.
Deck and balcony warning: Do not place or attach this system on a deck, terrace or balcony until a qualified professional confirms structural load capacity, wind-uplift resistance, ballast or attachment requirements, setbacks and local approval. Each HanerSun panel is approximately 89.7 x 44.6 inches and weighs 68.1 lb before racking or ballast is added.
The APsystems EZ1-LV-NA converts DC power from the two solar panels into 120V AC power. Each panel connects to its own independent input and MPPT channel.
Key advantages include:
The included HanerSun HN18N-72HT590W modules use N-type monocrystalline TOPCon cells with bifacial dual-glass construction for high output and long-term durability.

This kit is best suited for customers familiar with basic electrical and mounting practices or customers working with a qualified installer. Always verify requirements before installation or connection.

This kit creates a packaged two-panel option matched to the EZ1, allowing customers to avoid both the purchase cost and additional freight cost of ordering and shipping the extra panels required by the standalone minimum.
No. This package includes the two panels, microinverter, AC power cord and DC extension cables. Mounting hardware, ballast and structural attachments are sold separately.
The panel dimensions fall within the IR-30's published module-size guidance. Because these panels are approximately 28.2 sq. ft., use the manufacturer's ratings and installation instructions for modules up to 32 sq. ft. Reduced wind and snow ratings apply compared with smaller modules.
IntegraRack specifies one frame per panel plus one extra frame at the beginning of each row. Two panels installed together in one row generally require three IR-30 frames. Separate rows require additional starting frames.
Only after the structure and installation are professionally reviewed and approved. The IR-30 is not a balcony-railing mount. A qualified professional must confirm deck or balcony load capacity, wind uplift, ballast or attachment requirements, setbacks and local code compliance before installation.
It can be better for an approved ground or concrete-patio installation when seasonal tilt adjustment is important. It is taller and creates more wind exposure at steeper angles, so it is not the better default for a deck or balcony. Because the HanerSun panel is approximately 28.2 sq. ft., confirm panel compatibility and project-specific wind, snow and foundation requirements with IntegraRack before ordering.
Not automatically. The receptacle and circuit must be suitable, and the connection must be allowed by your state, utility and local authority. A dedicated circuit, permit, utility notification or licensed electrician may be required.
The two panels have a combined nameplate rating of 1180W DC. The EZ1 limits AC output to 900VA. The additional panel capacity can help the inverter reach useful output during more parts of the day, but AC output will not exceed the inverter rating.
No. This is a grid-tied system and does not include a battery or backup-power equipment. It is designed to stop providing usable AC output when the utility grid is unavailable.
The APMeter monitors consumption and adjusts EZ1 output to help limit export. It does not replace utility approval or other compliance requirements. Confirm that your utility accepts the proposed control method.
Product specifications, racking requirements, wind and snow ratings, utility rules and local codes can change. Always follow current manufacturer instructions and verify the proposed installation with the appropriate professionals and authorities.
