The Victron Energy BMS400100300 smallBMS NG is an all-in-one Battery Management System designed specifically for Victron Lithium NG (LiFePO4) batteries. It provides intelligent charge and load control, pre-alarm functionality, configurable discharge protection, and Bluetooth Smart connectivity for monitoring and configuration through the VictronConnect app. 

Designed as a simple and cost-effective alternative to the VE.Bus BMS NG, the smallBMS NG supports Lithium NG battery banks across 12V, 24V, and 48V system configurations. It does not include a VE.Bus interface and therefore is not intended for controlling VE.Bus MultiPlus and Quattro inverter/chargers.

  Provides dedicated battery-management functionality for Victron Lithium NG LiFePO4 batteries, monitoring the battery system and controlling compatible charging and load equipment when protection thresholds are reached.

• Bluetooth Smart
  Integrated Bluetooth Smart enables wireless configuration, monitoring, and firmware updates through the VictronConnect app. Instant Readout can display key information including state of charge, battery temperature, warnings, and alarms directly in the device list.

• Load Disconnect Output
  Controls the remote on/off input of compatible BatteryProtect devices, inverters, DC-DC converters, and other loads equipped with suitable remote-control functionality.

• Charge Disconnect Output
  Controls compatible charging equipment through its remote on/off interface, allowing the BMS to stop charging when required by the Lithium NG battery system.

• Pre-Alarm Function
  Provides an advance warning before load disconnection caused by cell undervoltage. The output can be used with compatible warning equipment such as an LED, buzzer, or suitable relay.

• Configurable Discharge Floor
  Allows a minimum battery state of charge to be configured to help prevent excessive discharge. VictronConnect provides low-SoC warnings, while reaching the configured discharge floor causes the BMS to deactivate its Allow-to-Discharge control output.

• Remote On/Off Control
  A dedicated remote on/off terminal allows external control of both the Load Disconnect and Charge Disconnect outputs.

• Integrated Status LEDs
  Uses a blue LED to indicate Bluetooth status and a red LED for warnings and alarm conditions.
