This model operates across a 16–35V DC input range, provides a nominal 12.2V output, and delivers 9A continuous output current at nominal output voltage and 25°C.

Designed for applications requiring electrical separation between DC circuits, the Orion-Tr provides 200V DC galvanic isolation between input, output, and case. It also features remote on/off control, short-circuit protection, high-temperature protection, adjustable output voltage, parallel operation capability, and screw-terminal connections. Victron specifically states that this converter is not intended for battery charging.
