The Victron Energy REL200100100 EM540 is a three-phase AC energy meter designed for integration with compatible Victron GX systems. It provides direct/shunt measurement of up to 65A per phase and communicates with the GX device through RS485, allowing measured energy information to be displayed through the GX interface and Victron Remote Management (VRM) portal. 

Within a Victron system, energy meters can be used to measure the output of a PV inverter, AC generator, grid connection in an ESS installation, or AC loads. The EM540 is a three-phase meter with an integrated LCD and fast register refresh rate, making it suitable for applications requiring direct three-phase energy measurement.
