The Victron Energy CYR020230430 Cyrix-Li-Charge 24/48-230 is a high-current intelligent relay designed to connect and disconnect a battery charger in compatible 24V and 48V LiFePO4 battery systems. It works with the control signal from a compatible battery management system to stop charging when battery conditions require protection from cell overvoltage or excessive temperature.

The Cyrix-Li-Charge is rated for 230A continuous current and provides an 80A breaking capacity at 48V. It includes LED status indication, a control cable, low open-state current consumption, and an IP54 enclosure for integration into compatible lithium battery charging systems.

  The Cyrix engages when its control input is high and disengages when the control input becomes free-floating or is pulled low, allowing a compatible BMS to control charger connection according to battery conditions. 

• Automatic Charger Connection Logic
  The Cyrix-Li-Charge connects the charger after a short delay when the BMS permits charging, sufficient charger-side voltage is detected, and the battery connection is present.

• Immediate Protective Disconnection
  If the control input becomes free-floating as a result of a battery protection condition such as cell overvoltage or overtemperature, the Cyrix-Li-Charge disengages immediately.

• Automatic Reconnection Logic
  After charging has stopped and the protection condition resets, the Cyrix can reconnect the charger using controlled delay logic. Repeated reconnection attempts result in a longer delay to avoid rapid cycling. 

• LED Status Indication
  Provides integrated LED indication for engaged, disengaged, connecting, disconnecting, and alarm states, helping technicians identify operating status directly at the relay. 

• Low Open-State Consumption
  Consumes less than 4mA while open, minimizing standby demand from the connected battery system.
