The Victron Energy CYR020120430 Cyrix-Li-Charge 24/48-120 is a 120A intelligent charge relay designed for compatible lithium battery systems using a VE.Bus BMS. It provides BMS-controlled connection and disconnection of a battery charger, helping protect LiFePO4 battery cells against overvoltage and excessive temperature conditions.

The Cyrix-Li-Charge 24/48-120 supports 24V and 48V battery systems. It provides a 120 A continuous current and breaking capacity at 24V and a 40A breaking capacity at 48V. The relay responds to both its BMS control input and voltage detected at the charger and battery terminals.

• Automatic Overvoltage Protection
  The Cyrix-Li-Charge immediately disconnects when its control input becomes free-floating, indicating a cell-overvoltage or cell-overtemperature condition.

• Voltage-Sensing Operation
  For this 24/48V version, charger connection is based on sensing approximately 27.4V for a 24V system or 54.8V for a 48V system at the charger terminal, along with at least 2V at the battery terminal.

• Automatic Reconnection Logic
  Following a cell-overvoltage event, the Cyrix can reconnect the charger after a 3-second delay once conditions recover. After two unsuccessful re-engagement attempts, the delay increases to 10 minutes.

• Low-Voltage Disconnect Logic
  If battery voltage falls below approximately 27V in a 24V system or 54V in a 48V system, the Cyrix-Li-Charge disengages after a one-hour delay.

• Low Standby Consumption
  Consumes less than 4 mA when open, helping minimize unnecessary battery drain.

• Compact IP54 Enclosure
  The compact relay measures only 46 × 46 × 80 mm and carries an IP54 protection rating.
