The Victron Energy Cyrix-ct 12/24V-230A is an intelligent battery combiner designed to automatically connect and disconnect two battery banks according to their voltage conditions. It supports both 12V and 24V systems through automatic voltage detection and provides a continuous current rating of 230A with a 500A cranking rating for 5 seconds.

The CYR010230010R uses intelligent voltage-trend monitoring rather than relying only on fixed voltage thresholds. It can prioritize charging of the starter battery, sense charging voltage from either connected battery, provide manual Start Assist for emergency battery paralleling, and automatically disengage if excessive contact temperature is detected.

• Starter Battery Priority
  In a typical installation, the alternator charges the starter battery first. Once the Cyrix detects that the starter battery has reached the connection threshold, it engages to permit parallel charging of the accessory battery. 

• Start Assist
  Can be manually engaged using a suitable push button or switch to temporarily connect the batteries in parallel, providing an emergency option when the starter battery is discharged or damaged. 

• Overtemperature Protection
  Automatically disengages if excessive contact temperature is detected and reconnects after the unit has cooled. 

• LED Status Indication
  Integrated LED indication communicates operating states including engaged, disengaged, connecting, disconnecting, and alarm conditions.
