In addition to displaying battery voltage, current, consumed amp-hours, state of charge, time-to-go, and power consumption, the BMV-702 features an additional input that can be configured for second-battery voltage, battery temperature, or midpoint-voltage monitoring. 

Using a precision shunt-based measurement system, the BMV-702 provides accurate monitoring for battery banks across a wide DC voltage range. It also includes a programmable visual and audible alarm, programmable relay, VE.Direct communication port, historical data storage, and support for optional Bluetooth monitoring through a VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart dongle.
