S-5! Brass Upper-Rod Post for SnoFence Systems SnoPost BE 

The SnoPost BE is a solid brass post used with the S-5-BE clamp to add and lock an upper SnoRod approximately 2″ above the lower rod in a two-rail SnoFence assembly. It “fixes” the upper rod at ends and at set intervals to prevent lateral movement, delivering higher snow-retention performance on traditional copper standing seam and batten seam roofs.

Key Benefits

Locks the Upper Rod: Integrated set screw secures the upper SnoRod to prevent rod migration at ends and fixed points. 

Builds a Two-Rail Snow Fence: Raises a second 3/8″ brass/copper SnoRod about 2″ above the first to increase retention capacity. 

System-Correct Materials: Solid brass post for compatibility with copper roofing systems and brass SnoFence components. 

Defined Spacing Guidance: Use at each end condition and roughly every 40–50 ft along long runs for a secure assembly. 

Special Technology

Thread-In Post: Threads into the S-5-BE clamp body; the top bore accepts the upper SnoRod and the set screw locks it in place.

Warranty

Covered by S-5!’s Limited Lifetime Warranty, which protects against defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the roof on which the product is installed.
