The OutBack Power EnergyCell 5 Battery Management System (EC-BMS) is the intelligent control module for the EnergyCell 5 lithium battery platform. Designed to monitor, protect, and manage the complete battery stack, the EC-BMS provides advanced battery management, inverter communication, and system protection for residential and commercial energy storage applications.

Supporting stacks of up to eight EnergyCell 5 battery modules, the EC-BMS continuously monitors battery voltage, current, temperature, and state of health while providing active cell balancing and automatic battery addressing. It features integrated CAN and RS485 communications for closed-loop operation with numerous leading inverter manufacturers and is fully compatible with OutBack Power energy storage systems.
