About the NanoRack System

The SunModo NanoRack System is a rail-less solar mounting solution designed for fast and efficient installation, primarily on residential composition shingle roofs. Here's a breakdown of its key aspects.

Eliminates the Need for Rails: Unlike traditional solar mounting systems that require rails to attach the solar panels, the NanoRack system mounts the panels directly to the roof using specialized brackets and hardware.  

Ground Assembly: A significant advantage is that much of the assembly can be done on the ground, with components attached directly to the modules before lifting them onto the roof. This simplifies the process and can save time and labor.  

Self-Aligning: The system features a patent-pending hook-and-loop design that automatically aligns the solar panels as they are installed, eliminating the need for precise measuring between modules after the initial row.

Key Components of the NanoRack System:

NanoRack Module Hook (NANORACK-HOOK): Attaches to the module frame and hooks onto the Universal Bracket.

NanoRack Universal Bracket (NANORACK-UNI): Connects to the roof deck via the NanoPlus base and interlocks with the Module Hook to secure the panels.

NanoPlus Base (NANOPLUS-B): The foundation that attaches directly to the roof deck using screws.  

NanoRack End Bracket (NANORACK-END): Provides a clean and secure finish for the outer edges of the solar array.

Grounding Lug (GRND-SMR): For code-compliant bonding to the racking system.

Wire Management Clips: To organize and secure PV wires and cables.  

MLPE Mount (MLPE-MODULE): For attaching Module-Level Power Electronics (MLPEs) like microinverters or optimizers.

Skirts (Optional): To provide a clean aesthetic finish around the perimeter of the array
