The GoodWe DSS-EV-40P-V3 EV Charger is a 9.6kW AC Level 2 electric vehicle charger designed to integrate with compatible GoodWe solar and energy storage systems.
Engineered for seamless compatibility with GoodWe ES-US and SBP-US Series energy storage inverters, it enables homeowners to use energy generated by their PV system to charge an electric vehicle.
The charger can also operate independently from the inverter. With a suitable AC connection, you can perform normal EV charging even if the associated inverter has not yet completed commissioning. The SolarGo app simplifies configuration and operation through Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.

Up to 40A Continuous Output
Supports a maximum continuous charging current of 40A for faster vehicle charging when the electrical installation supports the full output. -
Selectable Charging Current
Maximum continuous output can be configured to 40A, 32A, 24A, or 16A, allowing the charger to accommodate different electrical system capacities. The factory default setting is 16A. -
Solar-Powered EV Charging
Designed to work with compatible GoodWe energy storage inverters, allowing available PV energy to be used for electric vehicle charging. -
GoodWe ES-US & SBP-US Compatibility
Engineered for seamless integration with GoodWe ES-US and SBP-US Series energy storage inverters. -
Independent AC Charging
The EV charger can operate independently from the inverter with an AC connection, allowing normal charging even before inverter commissioning is complete. -
SolarGo App Configuration
Configuration and charger settings can be managed through the GoodWe SolarGo app using integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth communication. -
SAE J1772 Charging Interface
Uses the SAE J1772 EV charging standard for broad compatibility with supported electric vehicles. -
NEMA Type 4X Protection
Features a rugged NEMA Type 4X protection rating for installation in demanding environmental conditions. -
