The EG4 Chargeverter Plus (EG4CV48V100AIP54) is a robust AC-to-DC battery charger designed specifically for 48V lithium battery systems in both grid-connected and off-grid energy storage applications. Capable of delivering up to 100A of charging current and over 5kW of charging power, the Chargeverter Plus provides fast, reliable battery charging while accepting 120VAC, 208VAC, or 240VAC input sources. Its IP54-rated enclosure allows installation in outdoor environments, making it ideal for residential backup systems, off-grid power installations, and generator-based charging applications.
The Chargeverter Plus features built-in CAN and RS485 communications for closed-loop battery integration, adjustable charging parameters, integrated dry contacts for automatic generator start control, and a built-in breaker for enhanced safety. Designed to work with both utility power and generators, it can effectively charge lithium battery banks even when supplied by generators with poor power quality.
