Installation

1. Surface Preparation:

2. Application:
   • Apply DuraSil at room temperature for ease of gunning and tooling.
   • Gun a smooth, continuous bead and tool within 15 minutes if needed.
   • For best results, follow ASTM and SWRI recommendations for joint design.
3. Post-Application:
   • Remove wet sealant with alcohol; cured sealant must be abraded or scraped off.
   • Allow treated wood to cure for six months before application.
