Specialized Final-Mile Delivery

This rack requires specialized freight because the long, heavy galvanized-steel components cannot move through a normal parcel network. The delivery plan is designed to reduce unnecessary handling and bring the shipment to the destination using equipment better suited to oversized racking.

Deliveries Under 1,000 Miles

The order is scheduled on a dedicated 26-foot enclosed box truck from the shipping warehouse to the destination, with pickup photos and driver assistance at delivery.

Deliveries Over 1,000 Miles

The shipment travels by LTL linehaul to a terminal near the destination, then transfers to a box truck for the final-mile delivery with driver assistance.

Someone must be present and prepared to help hand-unload the racking. The delivery charge does not include an unloading crew, forklift, crane, installation, job-site placement or assembly. Confirm that the delivery address has safe access for a 26-foot box truck before ordering.

Shipping is based on the service required for oversized racking, not mileage alone. If you are near an available pickup location, contact US Solar Supplier before ordering to ask whether pickup or another approved delivery option is available for your order.

Designed for These Panel Dimensions

This configuration is engineered for commercial-size solar modules within the following dimensional tolerances:

Panel Length

89.69 inches ± 1.5 inches

Panel Width

44.65 inches ± 1.0 inch

Panel dimensions must be confirmed before the site-specific plan is completed. Panels outside these tolerances require custom engineering and may require different components.

Site-Specific Planning and Engineering

Included Plan Package

A site-specific plan package without an engineering stamp is included. A project-information form will be sent after purchase.

Stamped Engineering

Your permitting authority may require stamped structural documents. State-specific engineering can be arranged for an additional fee.

Standard Structural Configuration

The standard package is configured for requirements up to 125 mph wind and 60 psf snow, subject to site conditions, the final plan and local approval.

Higher Design Requirements

Additional design features are available for locations exceeding the standard wind or snow requirements. Contact US Solar Supplier before ordering.

Sky-Rack 2.0 Ground Mount System

The Sky-Rack 2.0 uses four primary structural component groups: C-channel posts, trusses, support struts and Z-purlins. The galvanized-steel construction is designed for long-term outdoor use and efficient field assembly.

  • Ground-mounted configuration for low-sloped terrain
  • Seasonally adjustable design for large-format modules
  • UL 2703 certified for module bonding and grounding
  • Galvanized-steel structural components
  • Made in the USA
  • 25-year manufacturer warranty

Seasonal Tilt Adjustment

The seasonal-adjust configuration allows the array angle to be changed from 15° to 60°. A steeper winter setting can improve alignment with a lower sun angle and may help with snow shedding. A lower summer setting can better match higher seasonal sun angles. Actual production gains depend on the site, climate, shading, orientation and how often the array is adjusted.

Fixed-Tilt Configuration

Available tilt range of 5° to 35°.

Seasonal-Adjust Configuration

Available tilt range of 15° to 60°.

What to Confirm Before Ordering

  • Exact solar-panel manufacturer, model number and frame dimensions
  • Project address and applicable wind, snow and permitting requirements
  • Soil and terrain suitability for the planned foundation method
  • Whether the local authority requires stamped engineering
  • Safe delivery access for a 26-foot box truck
  • Enough people or suitable equipment to safely unload long steel components
  • Qualified installation personnel familiar with ground-mount solar structures

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is shipping so high for this rack?

The rack includes long, heavy galvanized-steel components that cannot move through a normal parcel network. Shipping reflects the truck type, oversized-item handling, freight transfers, destination access and final-mile coordination required to deliver the rack safely. Distance is only one part of the cost, which is why a nearby destination may not price like a normal local parcel delivery. If you are near an available pickup location, contact us before ordering to see whether pickup or another approved option is available.

What happens when the racking is delivered?

The driver brings the shipment to the delivery address and assists with hand unloading. The customer or installation team must be present with enough people or appropriate equipment to unload the long steel components safely.

Is this an inside-delivery or installation service?

No. Delivery does not include an unloading crew, installation, assembly, job-site placement, forklift, crane or equipment rental. It includes transportation to the destination and driver assistance during hand unloading.

Are solar panels included?

No. This listing includes the Sinclair ground-mount racking package and the associated unstamped site-specific plan package. Solar panels and electrical equipment are sold separately.

Will my solar panels fit this rack?

This configuration is intended for modules approximately 89.69 inches long and 44.65 inches wide within the listed tolerances. The exact manufacturer, model number and frame dimensions must be confirmed before the plan package is completed.

Are stamped engineering documents included?

No. The included site-specific plan package is not stamped. If your state or local permitting authority requires a professional engineer’s stamp, that service can be arranged for an additional fee.

What if my site exceeds 125 mph wind or 60 psf snow requirements?

Contact US Solar Supplier before ordering. Additional design features and engineering may be available for sites with higher structural requirements.

Does seasonal adjustment guarantee more annual production?

No fixed production increase can be guaranteed. Seasonal adjustment allows the array angle to better follow changing sun angles and may assist with snow shedding, but results depend on the project location, shading, orientation, weather and adjustment schedule.

Is the Poly U Guard wire-management kit included?

No. The Poly U Guard wire-management kit is an optional add-on sold separately.
