History of Sonali Solar Manufacture

Sonali Solar, a Closter, N.J.-based solar contractor, was established in 2000. The company has since grown to over 50 employees. Sonali Solar has installed a total of 500 MW of solar capacity – 40 MW of which was installed in 2011. Sonali Solar is a global company, with customers in the US, Asia-Pacific and European markets. Our corporate headquarters is located in northern New Jersey. Our management team has a proven track record of success in business, with decades of business experience drawn from our parent group of companies that have been around since 1965.

Sonali Solar is a vertically integrated photovoltaic module manufacturer with a global presence. The Sonali Solar team is experienced in all phases of module development including design, production, research, development and customer service. We are extremely versatile in our manufacturing capabilities and we take pride in our ability to produce top of the line products at competitive prices. Our state of the art manufacturing facility, located in Detroit, MI, can accommodate residential or commercial projects of any size. The automated assembly line equipment was supplied by USA based Spire Corporation and includes a first of its kind electroluminescence tester to ensure our product quality is high.       

Projects of Sonali Solar

Sonali Solar is a relatively small-scale American-Indian manufacturer. It offers monocrystalline panels for residential and commercial projects but it also works with polycrystalline modules and BIPV solutions.

The company was established in 2009. Headquarters are located in northern New Jersey. The company operates a manufacturing facility in India. Sonali Solar works with customers in Europe, Asia and the US.

The project that Sonali is to equip has been awarded under the recent government tender in which Andhra Pradesh is looking to award power purchase agreements (PPA) to 1,000 MW of solar parks. According to a report from the Hindu Business Line last week, the state received bids for 1,350 MW of solar installations in the first phase of its solar programme. The state got a record 294 bids from 184 bidders by the February 15 deadline, the paper said quoting official data.
