The S-5! ColorGard 2.0 Splice is the internal connector used to join two ColorGard 2.0 crossmember sections into a continuous snow-retention assembly. Designed as part of the next-generation ColorGard 2.0 system, the splice simplifies installation while maintaining a continuous, uninterrupted snow-retention barrier across the roof.

The updated internal splice design allows the VersaClip 2.0 to be installed directly over splice locations, eliminating the need to field-cut crossmembers at every splice. With ColorGard 2.0, field cutting is generally only required at the end of the overall assembly, helping reduce installation time and material handling on the roof.

A built-in center dimple is engineered to maintain a gap between adjoining ColorGard crossmember sections. This gap allows for normal expansion and contraction of the crossmembers while keeping the snow-retention system connected across the splice.
