The FranklinWH aGate X (AGT-RIV3-US) is a micro-grid interconnection device (MID) and energy management system that ties together PV, grid, batteries, a standby generator, and smart load circuits for whole-home backup. With a 280A busbar, integrated metering, optional Smart Circuits & Generator modules, and NEMA 3R construction, it enables seamless grid/backup transitions and helps avoid main panel upgrades.
Whole-Home Power Control: Connects solar, grid, batteries, loads, and generator with precise circuit-level control.
Panel-Upgrade Saver: 280A internal busbar and UL1741-certified PCS function designed to help avoid MPUs.
Fast, Seamless Backup: Automatic transfer keeps always-on loads (e.g., fridge, router) powered during outages.
Flexible Installation: Indoor/outdoor wall-mount with bottom/left/right conduit entry options.
Easy Commissioning: Set up via aGate Wi-Fi hotspot or Bluetooth; monitor/control in the FranklinWH App.
